Recently, a mechanical shop near Denver, Colorado serviced a 2008 Toyota Prius with just under 600,000 miles. To their astonishment it was still on it's original motor and transmission! Although, the hybrid batteries were replaced at some point, this is expected at around every 200,000 miles .
